Let’s take a moment and talk about a common misleading repair term still in use today. Have you had a “Tune-up” or been advised your vehicle needs it from another repair facility?  We at RSP Auto Enterprises wants our industry to eliminate the use of this obsolete term.  According to Merriam-Webster the definition of “Tune-up” is defined as : a general adjustment to ensure operation at peak efficiency.  Since a large majority of vehicles on the road today are 1990 and newer, fuel injected and computer controlled, they HAVE NO provisions to make adjustments.  This means “YOUR CAR CAN’T BE TUNED-UP”,  so if you’ve been sold or told your vehicle needs a tune-up, someone is not being honest with you and may not be knowledgeable enough to maintain your vehicle.
